More than 20 Citibank customers in NYC were arrested today for trying to close their bank accounts.
More than 20 Citibank customers were arrested today for trying to close their bank accounts at a Citibank on LaGuardia Place in NYC. More then two dozen people formed inside the Citibank in order to close their accounts as a part of the Occupy Wall Street protests. Instead of allowing customers to close their accounts and take their money elsewhere, managers and security locked them inside and had them arrested.
24 people arrested, all charged with criminal trespassing, one person was also charged with resisting arrest. Shit like this has to make a lawyer’s dick hard.
